JUST ASK

“Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it!”
– Mary Angelou

“The sure way to miss success is to miss the opportunity.”
– Victor Charles

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we are curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
– Walt Disney

The first step to achieving virtually anything we aspire to is to ASK. Ask is the most deceptively simple and one of the most powerful core skills. It is so deceptively simple that most people don’t appreciate its power. Asking creates magic because it enables us to create something that didn’t exist before. Asking raises awareness because it opens pathways and possibilities that allow us to perceive more – of both the world outside of us and the world within. Asking bestows power because when you ask the right questions, you can find out virtually anything, and nothing is more empowering than knowledge.

Acknowledging our limitations prompts us to start asking questions, and from that precious moment on we move from limited to liberated.

“The important thing is not to stop questioning.”
– Albert Einstein

“You create opportunities by asking for them.”
– Shakti Gawain

“Small opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises.”
– Demosthenes

“Opportunities are greater today than ever before in history. Young people graduating from our schools have greater chances for health, happiness and prosperity than had the children of any previous generation. A little money will do more today in setting up a young man or woman in business than it would ever do heretofore. There is greater demand today for people of character than at any time in the history of America. Industry, intelligence, imagination, and persistence are great gold mines.”
– Roger W. Babson

“Success is not a matter of desire, but the product of hard work.”
– Jack Barringer
